Trade-offs and who it is not for
All that capability adds size, weight, and cost over a plain thermal monocular, and battery life is around five hours per cell, so spares matter. If you do not need the night-vision channel or rangefinder, a standard Sidewinder or Taipan does pure thermal for less.
